Canal Istanbul Workshop

The workshop, which took place on 10th January, was held to discuss the Canal Istanbul Project in all its aspects and evaluate its possible effects. In this context; the project was opened to discussion in terms of economy, security, strategic and spatial planning, transportation, environment, legal aspects, disaster risk and seismicity, and social dimensions. The possible effects were publicly evaluated gathering around the same table with the participation of scientists, relevant institutions and organizations.
