The work to prepare Istanbul's 2050 vision started in early 2020. Upon the invitation of Department of Housing and Urban Development, academicians, specialists and IMM officials held a series of meetings starting from January 21, 2020. During those meetings the topic of how to provide a structure for Vision 2050 Office with an innovative approach was discussed. On February 7, 2020 a Search Conference was held in two sessions in order to share this discussion with academic circles who had been working on related issues. The ideas conveyed within the scope of the Search Conference held with more than 80 participants shed light on the structure of the Vision 2050 Office.
